Brass lamp-stand with a tripod base, the kneed feet divided by palmettes and extending from a hexagonal grooved support for the baluster shaft. At the top of the shaft is a circular drip-tray with a low wall and a downturned outer rim, both decorated with mouldings. In the centre of the tray is a small omphalos, tapped and threaded in modern times to receive a modern bolt projecting from the underside of Lamp Q3782, 1923.4-16.1.a.

- The support, shaft and drip-tray were all cast separately, but now are fixed together by corrosion products.
