- Description

Two fragments of a greenish blown glass bowl with a plain cut and ground rim, curved sides, and a flattened base. Decorated with linear and facet cut designs: in the centre, a man on a stool; round him, four roundels and four round-headed panels. The roundel preserved contains wrestlers. Outside is a frieze, with (apparently) Muses on columns; the inscriptions ERATO and T (Terpsichore ?) remain. Beside Erato is a tragic actor; the whole is bordered by thick and thin grooves.
