Athenian black glazed pottery dish with a convex shaped body marked with an interior decoration of four impressed palmettes in the centre and a reserved band on the exterior towards the base and a ring foot reserved on part of the base, the glaze is worn and chipped, and there are traces of a whitish deposit in places.
