Black glazed pottery lekythos with a convex shaped body, reserved on the shoulder and decorated with black glazed egg moulding, reserved concave neck, flaring mouth with a reserved ledge rim and a circular foot reserved on the side and the base, the neck and foot have been broken and rejoined and the surface of the mouth is damaged, the glaze is chipped and has worn to a silver metallic colour in places.

Found unregistered, but the register notes that it was acquired before 1851 and was marked Hn Rm on a label, indicating that it was exhibited in the Hamilton Room and was probably part of the Hamilton Collection.
