Black glazed pottery pyxis with a cylindrical shaped body and a ring foot, lid is missing, in the style of Vulci, the glaze is worn and chipped in places.

Found unregistered, but it is noted in the register that it was acquired before 1851 and is marked Hn Rm in pencil on the base, indicating that it was exhibited in the Hamilton Room and was probably part of the Hamilton Collection.
