Hunting sword, with a narrow, straight, double-edged blade, currently rusted into the scabbard and a faceted hilt of mottled cream and red agate, flaring towards the pommel where there is a tang button. The hilt is chipped and damaged in several places. The scabbard is catalogued separately.

- Attached to the hilt is a sticky label printed DTS & A MUSEUM over a crown, No. 430. 65, traces of the same number can be seen painted on the hilt. Comment and object description by T.Richardson, Royal Armouries.
