Description
Brass lamp; cast; carinated body and round-topped nozzle extending to a rounded tip; circular filling-hole in the centre of a sunken area with a plain rim; band of tongues on the nozzle-top; wide filling-hole stepped for the lid; hinge-pieces with iron pin at the rear; circular lid with a baluster handle; hinge-piece broken; leaf-shaped handle-ornament, with engraved indications of the leaf-structure, pierced with six holes and tip missing; ring-handle below the ornament; raised, flaring base; concentric mouldings within; patchy sage green colouration.
