Reason for treatment
Stabilise loose flakes, cracks and areas as necessary.
Object is generally in good condition. Loose areas on the surface.
Loose areas were consolidated with 5% Aquazol 500 in Industrial methylated spirits (ethanol,methanol).
Antiquities assigned to the British Museum from the excavations at Ur, season 1931-1932.
