The scrolls were originally acquired in the late 1960s by Mr. Chong Yong Hwan, a well-known, prominent collector of Korean art in Busan City, Korea. Mrs. Mihe Jo received them from her father, as a gift from his collection, around the 1970s and then Mrs. Mihe Jo sold them to the Kang Collection.
