- Description
-
Logboat possibly formed from half an oak (Quercus sp. ). The ends are rounded in elevation, and were possibly rounded in plan. The transverse section was probably rounded. A bulkhead, 0.14m thick and 0.15-0.20m high, was left standing in the solid in the central section. Towards one end was a shallow transverse ridge which is now vestigal.
