Village man's jacket made of a fading pale blue and black striped Syrian satin silk warp and cotton weft textile (atlas), and lined with cream coloured cotton. The front and cuffs are trimmed with a braided grey/bluish cord and couching embroidery, the front has bobble closures. The button loop facing is made of moth eaten dark blue wool. The silk on the sleeves, around the armholes and neck opening is wasting away.
