Reason for treatment
Light surface clean. Make resin moulds.
Light surface dirt. Small dots of heavier tarnish.
Washed in acetone applied on swabs. Cleaned chemically using Diethylenetriaminepenta acetic acid pentasodium salt applied on swabs. Cleaned manually using pin vice. Washed in warm tap water with 1% Synperonic n (Non ionic detergent, nonylphenol ethylene oxide condensate) added. Dried using tissues and gently brushed using bristle brush.
The pot in which they were found c.1865 was not preserved.
