An interesting mix of touristic, ethnographic, and military images taken in Burma. This book includes contributions by Tamura Shigeru (1908-1987) who became famous after WW II for his coverage of the Ampo demonstrations and the Vietnam War. He had studied at the Oriental Shashin Gakujo before opening a studio on the Ginza together with Watanabe Yoshio. During the war he worked as a journalist photographer. Rare. Only one copy in OCLC.
