An interesting collection of photographs taken by Japanese amateur photographers living in Manchuria. In four chapters the book sketches progress, beauty, happiness, and social harmony in the puppet state. The first volume was published in the previous year. The Information Centre for Manchurian Affairs was formed to encourage Japanese immigration and investment. Only one copy in OCLC. (Titus Boeder, 4/2007)
