A picture-book of Manchuria produced for the South Manchuria Railway Company. This company was founded just after the Russo-Japanese war in 1906 and it operated a wide variety of commercial enterprises as well as social services for Japanese immigrants in Manchuria. 2599 refers to the number of years after the birth of the first Emperor of Japan (see below). It includes important work of Fuchikami Hakuyo who had been working in the publicity department of the South Manchuria Railway Co. since 1928. Only 3 copies in OCLC. (Titus Boeder, 4/2007)
