Bowl with a woman and children
This blue-and-white bowl is painted with a woman sitting on a rock near a willow tree watching three small boys playing. Chinese people regard genre scenes of children playing as auspicious, representing a wish for many sons. There is a four character underglaze blue apocryphal Xuande reign mark on the base.
