Dish with birds on fruiting branches
This dish is sketchily painted inside with two birds on fruiting branches. As well as collecting the finest imperial porcelains Sir Percival David appears to have been conscious of the need to collect other less prestigious pieces. This simple dish is marked on the base in underglaze blue with a six character apocryphal Chenghua reign mark.
