Cup with ‘egg and spinach’ glazes
This small cup has a side handle indicating that it is based on a European cup. The glazes are green, yellow and brown with white patches and are known in Europe as 'egg and spinach'. The palette derives from one invented in the Tang dynasty (AD 618–906).
