Rectangular porcelain table screen. Fine, greyish-white porcelain delicately painted on either side in 'famille rose' palette enamels in a slightly sunken panel. On one side, a lakeside scene with two human figures on a bridge, huts, lofty crags, rocks and pine.

Table screen with a riverscape on one side and birds on the other
The designs are bordered by a band of dragons, phoenix and lotuses together with auspicious characters. The porcelain screen would have fitted into a wood frame.
