Room 95 label text: PDF 254 Celadon flower-pot with inscription This cylindrical flower-pot stands on three feet. It is decoraed with low relief floral scrolls around the body. The incised inscription on base reads: 大明正德元年大 □造吉日(Da Ming Zhengde yuannian Da ?Guan zao jiri ‘Made by Da ?Guan on the lucky day in the first year of the Zhengde period of the Great Ming [ AD 1506]’). Stoneware with crackled celadon glaze Longquan ware龍泉窯 Longquan region, Zhejiang province 浙江省, 龍泉地區 Ming dynasty, dated equivalent to AD 1506
