Dish with winged dragons and inscription
There are two dragons among waves chasing a flaming pearl in red, green and yellow on the interior, and four dragons chasing a flaming pearl on the exterior. The base carries a mark which reads: 嘉靖年西谷製 (Jiajing nian Xigu zhi ‘Made in the JIajing reign by Xigu’).
