Pair of brush-washers in the form of wooden buckets
This pair of porcelain water-pots in the form of a wooden buckets, have curved handles with applied animal masks. They are painted in wucai enamels with herons and lotus plants beside a pond. The base carries an apocryphal four-character Xuande reign mark in underglaze blue.
