Room 95 label text: PDF 707 Dish with green dragons Potters incised this dish with a design of dragons chasing flaming pearls. This was covered in a wax resist and the dish was then dipped in clear glaze and given a high-temperature firing. The dish was then painted with green enamel on the biscuit areas but also over the clear glaze for details such as the dragons’ whiskers and flames. The base carries a six-character underglaze cobalt-blue Chenghua reign mark.
