Room 95 label text: PDF 63 Bowl with lotus petals This dish is decorated outside with a stylised overlapping lotus petal pattern and is a typical product of the southern Longquan kilns. Lotus are a symbol of purity. Similar bowls were made for a long period in China and many were exported. Stoneware, porcelain-type, carved with crackled celadon glaze Longquan ware龍泉窯 Longquan region, Zhejiang province 浙江省,龍泉地區 Southern Song dynasty, about AD 1200–1279
PDF 63 蓮瓣碗 此碗為南宋龍泉窯燒造的典型器物,外壁刻變形重疊蓮瓣紋。蓮花是純潔的象徵。在中國,類似器形的碗很長一段時間內皆有燒造,並大量外銷。 炻器,属廣義瓷器,刻花,青釉開片 龍泉窯 浙江省龍泉地區 南宋,約1200-1279年
