Pair of glazed earthenware tiles with inlaid decoration in buff, blue and brown depicting a) a Chi-Rho, and b) the IHS monogram, both surrounded by a stylised crown of thorns. Both tiles are sandwich tiles (ie. a layer of coarse red clay sandwiched between layers of fine buff clay).
