Jacket (haori) with all-over double kasuri design in brown and black from Oshima. The traditional colours resulting from frequent immersion in iron rich mud. (cf Anna Jackson Japanese Country Textiles, 1997, p 119). Two ties attached to inner lapels made of green and gold braid. Part lined with deep blue silk.
