Kimono of textured silk (combing warp and weft twills). Decorated with forested hills and trees. Individual leaves in coloured dyes are used to represent forest trees, other trees are painted by hand in black sumo ink. Horizontal lines formed in the makinori technique of scattered colour are distributed from shoulder to hem. Gold leaf has been applied to some of these lines. Lined with white silk, shaded to blue on overlaps and hem. Stored inside a paulownia box together with 1991,0302.1. With lacquered display stand.
