Child's kimono, woven in bast fibre (?) with double kasuri pattern dyed in black. The strong design lends itself to the three tones made by the selective dyeing of the warp and weft threads: black, white, and grey. Oshima. Green ties at waist. Half-lined in pale yellow, half in olive green.
