Unlined black, gauze kimono with sparsely scattered, very small (approximately one cm), rough moon shapes inlaid with metal thread. If the kimono is held up to the light, or a piece of white paper laid under the material, it can be seen that this is no ordinary gauze: there is a design contained within vertical columns. The general appearance is of a formal kimono although there are no mon.
