Sasaki Yuichiro (1917-1980) was one of the few photographers who survived the bombing and who dedicated the rest of his life to the documentation of the effects and after-effects in Hiroshima - long before Domon Ken, Tomatsu Shomei or Tsuchida Hiromi came to explore the subject. This work is published by Asahi Newspaper and it covers most aspects of the disaster, however emotionally it remains curiously on the surface. Only three copies in OCLC. (Titus Boeder, 4/07)
- Topographic representation of: Hiroshima-shi
- PB.149 (Photobook number)
