A very competent and beautifully produced book by a little known photographer: Ikegami Yasutoshi was born in 1922 in Kita-Kyushu. After graduating from middle school he joined the photography department of Mitsubishi. After the war he built a small photography museum in his home-town of Yanagawa. Most of his work is concerned with life in the countryside. No copy in OCLC. (Titus Boeder, 4/07)
