A beautiful documentary book showing life in the various shitamachi (downtown) districts of Tokyo throughout one year. This is the Japan from the picture-book, something that a Japanese might sum up with the term natsukashii (good old times). The books title was taken in analogy to Tokyo Nekomachi (1993). No copy in OCLC. (Titus Boeder, 4/07)
