  • Curator's comments

    From a group which includes also 'The Power of Justice' and 'The Widow'.
    The copper plate was sold, with that of 'The Marriage', by order of the executors of Benjamin Beale Evans, by George Jones, Leicester Square, 26/5/1824 (37). There may be a state republished by him.
