Consolidate fix back detached fragments where possible, remove labels and pack.
The wood elements are very fragile and the loose fragments evident within the old packing suggest that the objects are deteriorating, though this may be partly as a result of the present packaging, as the objects are free to move about in the box.
Objects consolidated by applying 3% Paraloid B72 (ethyl methacrylate copolymer) in Xylene with a pipette. Loose or detached elements were reconstructed with HMG heatproof and waterproof adhesive (cellulose nitrate). The object was then placed within Plastazote (polyethylene) cut outs within clear polyester boxes.
