A girl's head-dress (?); embroidered. Rectangular in shape and made from fine natural cream tabby cotton cloth. Three edges turned and secured with red blanket stitch embroidery. Four rows of smocking (red, yellow, green and pink) where cloth joins band. Band (double thickness) embroidered with daisy-like flowers (two tones of blue), and red/yellow and pink flowers and green stems, using mercerised cotton yarns. Further red blanket stitch embroidery at top of band, light blue at edge of ties.
