A broadside on the persecution and punishment of sodomy in Amsterdam; with an engraving showing six scenes, the first an interior with male homosexuals socialising, on the right two men leaving hand in hand, in the left foreground an female allegorical figure representing Sin; the second image showing two men walking in the street, women and children withdrawing, in the foreground a female allegorical figure of Sorrow; the third showing the arrest of the two men, in the right foreground a female allegorical figure of Fear; the fourth image showing the two men imprisoned, on the left a female allegorical figure of Suffering; the fifth image showing the burning and hanging of male homosexuals, in the front the figure of Death holding an image with a boat, the sixth image showing a scaffold in front of Amsterdam's City Hall, with men being garrotted and drowned in barrels of water, on the right the allegorical representation of the Last Judgement; with engraved title, and on a separate sheet, with letterpress verses by Gijsbert Tijsens, wanting the names and address of the publishers.
