Description
Gilded copper alloy foil fragment with one finished edge, a short length of a milled border, and the eye and angular eye surround of a Style II bird or zoomorph. The eye surround is composed of beads within single raised borders. The scale of the motif is large, suggesting that the foil may have originally been part of the decorative scheme of a ?shield. Four small loose fragments.
