Remove old lacquer. Clean to remove tarnish and improve legibility
Immersed and swabbed with acetone to remove lacquer. Swabbed with Silvo silver and chrome (cotton wadding, white spirit, Newburgh chalk, china clay) on a cotton wool swab to remove tarnish and then with white spirit to remove cleaning residues. Renumbered on reverse with 'Magic Color' liquid acrylic colour.
