Redware pottery jar with a short foot, convex sides widening to the shoulder, four small handles(one missing) and a neck that widens to the rim, the shoulder is decorated with a ridge and the neck is decorated with an incised groove.

Clean and desalt.
Dirty, containing salts.
Soaked in daily changes of tap water until three consecutive conductivity readings were obtained. Cleaned surface with sponge. Salts removed, surface cleaned.
