A rectangular machine-printed white cotton cloth, kanga, with a continuous patterned border of black, white and purple overlapping fishscale motifs enclosing a central design of black ovals on alternating bands of green and purple. Just above the centre of the lower border is an inscription in Kiswahili: MKE MWEMA NI UA NYUMBANI HUCHANUA - "a good wife is like a flower which blossoms at home".
