These are two of the blocks that Numan published himself before he gave up and went to work for two large Amsterdan publishers of catchpenny prints, Stichter and van Egmont. They come from a set of four, and are copied in the same direction from a pair of crayon-manner engravings by Demarteau after Boucher, nos 111 and 112 of Demarteau's numbering (see Jean-Richard nos 685 and 687).
