Reason for treatment
Remove amulet from fabric mount. Remove adhesive residues. Apply big number if neccessary.
Amulet was pinned to the mount and there was residues of old adhesive located underneath the amulet. The surface of the amulet was also extremely dirty.
Under magnification the pins were moved away from the amulet so it could be lifted off the mount. The surface was swabbed with 70:30 IMS to distilled water on cotton wool swabs. The excess adhesive was softened with this solvent and removed with a scalpel under magnification.
