Circular pottery vessel-cover of coarse red siltware pottery, with central knob-handle and flaring sides. There are traces of a red slip on the underside; this probably once covered all surfaces but it has been lost owing to exfoliation of the surfaces. The exterior is considerably pitted from this decay.
