Upper section of a granodiorite statue of Sekhmet, wearing sun disc, the edges of the dorsal column are moulded and the top rounded off. Uraeus broken from front of the disk. Both arms lost. The straps of the dress are decorated with rosettes.

Reason for treatment
Clean. Retouch base.
Surface soil of greasy dirt. Plaster of Paris filling at base uncoloured/black.
Cleaned with distilled water using a steam cleaner. Coloured with Rowney Cryla acrylic paints and a soft brush.
