Tea-canister and lid with flattened button knop; porcelain; straight sides; printed under the glaze in blue with 'The Fisherman and Cormorant' pattern of oriental lake scene, fisherman in boat with triangular sail, bird on rock and island with building; border band of octagons and frieze of pendant trefoils round shoulders; fisherman and boat and same rim pattern on lid; gilt line near foot and rim and remains of gilding on knop; base indented; marked.
