Clean, Improve make up and clean the base.
The object is covered in a brown waxy coating.
Linament of soap was brushed onto the surface with a stencil brush. This was then steam cleaned away until there was no residue on the paper towel . The sandstone base was rubbed down with glass paper to remove surface deposits
