New Members' Room
Explore the room

The new Members' Room incorporates key features that Members requested when they were consulted in 2009.

Breathtaking views

The new space has a stunning vista across the Great Court’s two-acre space and provides a window onto the acclaimed roof designed by Norman Foster.

Easy access

The central location makes the room easily accessible from the Museum galleries and places it at the heart of the Museum. The entrance can be found two flights up the West stairs or by lift from the bottom of the West stairs.

Enhanced facilities

On the ground floor there is a cafe offering tea and coffee, light lunches and afternoon tea. On the upper level there is comfortable seating and desks for study with access to free wifi. There are toilet facilities on both floors with disabled access and baby changing facilities.
