Let us know you’re coming

If you plan to visit at a specific time then let the Membership Office know and we will add you to the guaranteed entry list. Please contact the Membership Office at least one working day before your visit.

Avoid the most popular times

We anticipate that the first two weekends that the exhibition is open (27 - 28 May and 3 - 4 June) will be among the most popular. If the exhibition reaches capacity and you’re not on the guaranteed entry list, we may ask you to collect a ticket for entry at a later time on the same day. We can suggest some other displays in the Museum for you to visit while you wait.

The Members’ Evening on 5 June is also likely to be extremely popular; access to the Hokusai and American Dream exhibitions will be ticketed on a first-come, first-served basis and is expected to reach capacity.

Consider visiting during a weekday or on a Friday night when exhibitions tend to be quieter. Although the last entry for ticket purchasers is 80 minutes before the exhibition closes, Members can enter the exhibition at any time until closing (17.30 daily, 20.20 on Fridays).

Make the most of your Membership
