about the resources and taught sessions for schools.

After a teacher-led visit to the special exhibition, students
join our education partners Mexicolore to find out more
about the role of the Aztec emperor and the character of Moctezuma
in his encounter with the Spanish. Was he brave or gullible, hero
or traitor?

Acting as emissaries of the Spanish king, students visit
Moctezuma’s capital, Tenochtitlan, and investigate the Aztec
empire: its wealth, its power and how it might be conquered. Links
are made with contemporary Tudor England.
