This one day conference is suitable for specialist and non-specialist teachers of Latin, Classical Civilisation and Ancient History.
It is run in association with the University of Cambridge School Classics Project and includes a visit to the special exhibition Life and death in Pompeii and Herculaneum. A wide range of sessions will address the latest research from Pompeii and Herculaneum; how to use the exhibition with students; best practice for engaging students with the material culture and integrating the study of language and culture.
